To earn UGA's New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate, Lindley had to complete two electives that related to new media. Lindley completed an English course titled, "Writing for the World Wide Web," where she studied the theory and practice of the process of writing for the World Wide Web. Writing for the Web requires careful consideration of such topics as linearity, intertextuality, rhetorical strategy and writing as a technology. During the course, she completed various multimedia projects, blogs and Web pages.
